Respect Fortnight

Building on the success of last year, we have begun Respect Fortnight again today. Our Coiste Cineáltas met to identify areas for improvement and to agree on how we can further strengthen our attitudes and behaviours in school. It was so lovely to hear that our committee feels like things are going well at school but we know that there is always room for improvement. We are lucky to have such wonderful páistí in SCT.

Our focus areas include:

Following our school rules

Making good eye contact and greeting others positively

Listening carefully and following instructions the first time

Using a kind tone of voice and showing kindness at all times

Taking responsibility for our actions

Playing fairly and including everyone

Spreading positive energy

This fortnight provides a valuable opportunity to reset and remind ourselves of our five school rules. This term, we are keeping outside initiatives to a minimum so we can focus on the curriculum and embed high standards of learning habits and behaviour. We really appreciate your continued support with this.
