Scoil Cholmáin Tuairíní

 On behalf of all in Scoil Cholmáin Tuairíní we would like to express our deepest sympathies to Anne, Teresa, John, Deirdre, Paul, Áine and Tommy, sons-in-law Shay and Paul, daughters-in-law Maureen, Katrina and Edel, to Dylan, Cian, Amy, Ailbhe, Anne, Darragh, Aoife, Grace and Laranne, on your tremendous loss.

Tom Newell epitomised all that is great about the community of Tuairíní. If there was a job that needed to be done in SN Tuairíní or Scoil Cholmáin Tuairíní as we now call it, over the past 50 years Tom had a part in the doing of it. He was not one for the limelight or for praise but the respect and esteem with which he is held in in Tuairíní is testament to the man.

 
Tom was a true gentleman with a memorable smile. A model citizen, we are grateful that his children and grandchildren will continue his great legacy in our school and in the community of Tuairíní.
